"The goal of Yoga is to balance and align your body, mind and spirit harmoniously and to sustain that balance throughout the phases of your life.  This requires discipline and patience.  To attempt it with force will create imbalance and injury.  To embody yoga it needs to be practiced with clarity, wisdom and gentleness." 

The word “Yoga” means “Union or Yoke”. It is a system of health, combining poses that keep the body and the mind working together to build strength, flexibility, balance and concentration. Practicing yoga builds a strong foundation to grow from in order to become self-assured, clear-thinking, responsible people in the world. With regular practice the body will do surprising things!

These eight limbs work together to create a whole and complete happy human.  Through all or even just a few of these practices, one can find inner joy and learn to live a more peaceful life.
